Elizabeth Hutchison Hicklin (“Hutch” to everyone except her mother) is a Charleston, South Carolina-based freelance writer and editor.
A former magazine editor, Hutch writes about travel, food & drink, arts & culture, and style. Her work has appeared in the pages of publications such as The New York Times, Men’s Journal, Southern Living, Coastal Living, The Local Palate, and Garden & Gun, where she worked as an editor for nearly nine years and continues to produce the award-winning Southern lifestyle magazine’s annual Made in the South Awards.
